Founded in 1958, Guangxi Liugong
Machinery Co., Ltd (Liu Gong) is China’s leading construction
equipment manufacturer and the first stock-listed company in
domestic industry. Employing more than 6000 people and with
2006 revenues of 5.18 billion RMB, including 67.3 million
USD from exports, LiuGong is the world’s second largest
wheel loader manufacturer for annually outputting more than
20,000 units.
Product Lines
Liu Gong product lines include wheel loader, ranging from 5.3
to 28.5 tons, hydraulic excavators, with bucket capacity
from 0.11 to 1.2 m3, rollers and operating weight from 4.4 to 25
tons, road equipment which includes pavers, motor graders
and milling machines, multipurpose compact products which
includes skid-steer loaders and backhoe loaders, and the
recently developed forklift trucks, etc.
R & D Strength
Nearly 500 engineers work in the Company’s own
national-class Technology Center and Post-Doctoral Station,
making its leading strength in R & D. Over the last decade
more than 10 models of LiuGong products have won national
awards and honors, such as “Chinese Top Brand” for LiuGong
wheel loader, and the second prize of National Technology
Development for the Plateau-type wheel loader which
developed in 2002 as the first in the world. In addition,
LiuGong core products have passed the CE certificate and
successfully entered the European and North American premium
market.

System
Through decades of investment and upgrade, LiuGong has
equipped with world-class manufacturing facilities in every
major operation to keep the Company’s competitiveness, such
as automatic welding lines, resin-sand foundry lines and
sophisticated machining centers, etc. In addition, the
Company applies the integrated ISO system of QMS, EMS and
OHSMS, to keep continuous improvement of higher quality,
reliability and efficiency, while also caring for its
people, the communities, and the environment.
