In 1994 he was awarded the contract at Amcoal (Anglo American). Total awarded Mr. Burger a contract in 1996. He started with a fleet of 3 and expanded to a fleet of more than 100 which includes trucks, trailers and machines. The vision of the business is to be a leader in the earthmoving field. They aim to provide services of a good quality in order to minimize breakdowns and to provide maximum productivity. They strive to achieve their goals by addressing one of the biggest problems in the country, namely unemployment, by providing employment opportunities. They also ensure that natural human resources are reserved.

In 2007 Mr. Burger moved back to Namibia and reintroduced himself in the Namibian market as founding member of Burgers Africa. He would like to bring his knowledge and expertise back to his country of origin.  The Head Office is situated in Okahandja next to the Trans Kalahari highway and is highly visible from the main road.

The aim of the business is to import and sell earthmoving equipment to the construction and mining industries, but it will also be accessible to the man on the street. We have a neat and spacious spare parts department, that forms part of the head office, as well as a tyre store which caters all your truck and earthmoving needs.
